Living in your space

Step 1. Introduction & initial in-home meeting

We’ll walk through and discuss the space you need to do its job better.  Anything from the entire home to just the “junk” drawer.  My happy place is your crawl space or primary closet or playroom.  This visit will let us get to know each other and develop a shared knowledge of your space.  After that meeting, I’ll follow up with some suggestions and actionable steps.

Step 3. You still have things you love

I’ll source and assemble the beautiful and maintainable resources you need for your space.  Then put these tools to work so you can find everything and enjoy your beautifully sorted space.

Step 2. Keep the momentum

I’ll help you implement the plan.  It can be overwhelming to make the change and dedicate the time.  Having an appointment you’ll have to cancel so you can’t put off what’s bothering you for one more day can help.  I’ll bring the resources and know how.  Let’s get your space decluttered.

Pre-move declutter

If you’re not sure you love something, or you know you don’t, why do you want it to move to your new space with you? Before a move is a great time to declutter. You’re going to have to touch everything you own so this is a great time to decide what to keep, donate or toss.

Sort to sell

We all have things in our homes that have served us well for years or on a special occasion but are just not serving us longer. I stored my correctly cleaned and preserved wedding dress for 20 years thinking of my daughter. She’s now 3 inches taller than me so that doesn’t make much sense any more. Hopefully someone else will love it. We all have things we’ve kept that either did a great job or have sentimental value. The trick is realizing when an item has shifted from having value to costing you space you would prefer to use for a different purpose.
